A Fenomenologia NEGRA de FANON

This black phenomenology of Fanon is the result of the intellectual reunion of two friends who for four years developed dialogues about Frantz Fanon's readings of texts in light of phenomenology and African ancestry. This book is the record of learning achieved in this coexistence and comes to us as a celebration of Fanon's centennial of birth (1925-2025).

The book reflects reflections and categories developed by Fanon, situating them in the context of phenomenological debates and raising articulations with the confrontation of racism in the present moment. In this sense, approximations with the Afro-Brazilian philosophy and enchantment, evoking well-known and anonymous people of philosophy and samba. So in addition to Fanon, Merleau-Ponty, Husserl, Sartre and Marx, we have the happy companies of Adilbênia Freire Machado, Eduardo Oliveira, Renato Noguera, Ailton Krenac, Nego Bishop and the people of samba: Janaína Queiroz, Cláudio Peba, Léo Fé and the multi-artist Jonas Lopes who read the Black Skin White & Masks created the cover of this book, giving us a huge Fanon, on whose face the white mask does not fit.
